COVID-19 Vaccination – Coverage Status
As of today, September 5, all Kaiser plans and the majority* of the City of Seattle's Aetna plans continue to cover COVID-19 vaccinations for individuals of all ages.
Potential changes to the COVID-19 vaccine coverage are currently being discussed at the national level. Clinical experts supporting the City’s plans are closely reviewing the FDA’s approval of the 2025–2026 COVID-19 vaccine and will evaluate forthcoming guidance from the CDC, recommendations from relevant medical societies, and other trusted sources. This review will help ensure the vaccine is administered safely and effectively.
We’ll share updates on this page as more information becomes available.
*Immunizations are covered on all Kaiser plans, all Preventive plans, and the Most and Local 77 Traditional plans.
